Erin Detwiler has proudly called Kona home since 2002. She grew up in Montana and graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She moved to the Big Island with her now husband Tad, a General Contractor. Together, they made the move to help run his family construction company. Before getting her real estate license, Erin gained experience in IT, HR, Management and Construction – all which help her immensely as a Realtor.
Their construction company, Detwiler Construction, focuses on building single-family spec homes and through this experience, she gained an extensive knowledge in the Hawaii building process and learned of her love for helping people and connecting others. As the business grew, her and her husband built more homes, and Erin decided it was time for her to start selling them! Getting her real estate license only made sense. While she originally intended to only sell their homes, that did not last long. She quickly found herself with a successful real estate career!
Erin and Tad have two soccer loving children and she is very involved with her children’s extracurricular activities and sits as a board member on several community boards.
