Kimi Correa’s expertise in residential real estate has been honed through a lifetime’s career of detailed customer service, listening and understanding what clients need, and doing whatever is necessary to deliver success, while doing it the right way. A self-confessed over-achiever (a label friends and family confirm), Kimi grew up in South Florida, working her way up the ladder at the local supermarket rather than lounging at the beach after school like most of her friends. When love and the promise of surf called, she headed cross-country, then across an ocean to find paradise. While the surf never caught on – perhaps because her first outing ended in a wipe-out that left her kissing coral – her heart immediately put down roots in the tradewinds, culture and lifestyle that Hawaii embodies. When raising her young son, she stepped out of the 9-5 world, preferring instead to found and run a successful day care business– not one that followed the status quo, but one with full curriculum, field trips, and standards of excellence. When friends and family turned to her to care for their personal homes, she jumped on-board, got her real estate license, and provided property management services. Now, with her son grown, she’s doing what she loves most – connecting people with the right home and the right opportunity.

Kimi launched her real estate sales career with a bang, successfully connecting a global celebrity with the perfect east Oahu home. She hasn’t slowed down since. While she calls Kailua home and specializes in Windward Oahu, she’s a savvy agent across the state, closing transactions all over Oahu, from Waikiki to the North Shore, as well as on the outer islands. Kimi doesn’t believe in “cookie cutter” deals, approaching each client where they are and making sure to engage state of art marketing tools, social media, and attention to the tiniest details to ensure her client’s experience is seamless. She’s a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR), The Honolulu Board of Realtors (HBR), and Realtors Association of Maui ( RAM). She also holds accreditation as a Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and as a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS). Kimi’s mantra: “I believe in God, telling the truth, hard work, and doing what’s right.”

Kimi’s husband Doug says she goes the extra mile. Her clients say she goes as many miles as it takes, and then an extra one. “She’s a fire spirit that never stops . . . It was always Kimi to the rescue!” “Grounded, trustworthy and a real genuine person!” After another successful transaction, one client wrote, “Your work was exceptional, not just as my agent but now as my friend. You were tireless and thorough and always pleasant, which is not what I’d say about myself.”

When not working (which isn’t often), she likes to stay active in Hawaii, trying to get outdoors for a brisk walk most mornings to clear her head. She’s also fiercely competitive, so when a group of friends suggested a FitBit Challenge, she jumped on board – staying at the top of her game and forcing them to do the same.
